Les Burdett

Les Burdett OA is one of cricket's most popularand well-respected identities, having served Adelaide Oval for 41 years.

Les has been received the following awards:

* Australian Sports Medal (2001) in recognition of his services to cricket
* Australian Centenary Medal (2003) for service to the sport of cricket and the turf industry
* Order of Australia (2008) for his services to the turf management industry, charities and the community

He has been a consultant to the International Cricket Council and Cricket Australia and is also ambassador for SA Variety.

Les's expertise has been in demand internationally. He has consulted to the International Cricket Council and Cricket Australia, and since his retirement in July 2010, has established his own consultancy.

Les is currently director of Les Burdett Consulting Pty Ltd and continues to consult nationally and internationally.
