Dami Im

Dami’s outstanding talent was recognised when she went on to win the fifth series of the TV show ‘X Factor.’  Judges declared her a potential international star and winner of the 2013 season after each standing ovation.

Dami Im began as a music teacher with a focus on piano and vocals.  Born in South Korea, she moved to Australia at the age of 9.

Playing piano, then singing helped her make friends at school, breaking down the barriers of not being from an English speaking background.  Dami loves artists like Whitney Houston, Beyonce and the K-Pop genre

She has performed professionally in Korea, though has never been to a concert herself.

Since X Factor Dami has  signed with Sony music Australia and released her winner’s single ‘Alive,’ which debuted at number one on the ARIA Singles Chart.
