Peter Inglis

Peter Inglis is widely known as one of Australia's most experienced and versatile guitarists. Peter plays over 400 years of repertoire - Baroque - Classical - Romantic - Spanish - Latin and Jazz styles, all with a beautiful CD-quality sound system to ensure the music subtly permeates the whole room.

In solo performance he ranges from Latin and Jazz through Flamenco, Spanish to Baroque and Classical. Having played and led bands in most styles of music and every conceivable type of venue means he brings a depth of experience to his performance that wows audiences everywhere.

Highlights of his career include supporting Stephane Grapelli at the Sydney Opera House and producing Ian Cooper's debut album "Soundpost". He is also a respected author and teacher. His book The Whole Guitarist applies Alexander Technique to the guitar and has received world wide acclaim in its treatment of the fundamental challenges in guitar technique.

Peter plays on Sydney's 5-star corporate circuit and at private functions as a solo performer as well as leading his own Classical and Jazz ensembles. These lively ensembles play all the classics and standards with the difference being Peter's delightful guitar work plays a major role.
