Cathrine Summers is a charismatic, powerful and dynamic singer who is fast becoming a recognised name around Sydney. With a voice designed for jazz – rich and husky with a soulful tone you just can’t learn. Summers made a name for herself in Perth and has now moved Sydney bringing with her the fresh, charismatic, fun loving style.

Her repertoire is more than jazz and spans from classic standards to soul, pop and back again… Cathrine’s interpretations spans throughout the many jazz standards from the Great American Songbook made famous by performers such as Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughn as well as the respected contemporary artists Diana Krall and Nora Jones. Her more recent muse is pop-turned jazz and effortlessly delivers songs made famous by the likes of Amy Winehouse, Radiohead, White Stripes, Adele, The Beatles, Simply Red, and even Katy Perry… all performed in an individual way. To summarise her unique style, you could say that Summers is a blend; a female Michael Bublé, a splash of Jane Monheit, with the sulty vocals of Diana Krall thrown in.

She’s enjoyed some extremely successful events and shows in WA and now living in Sydney performs regularly at the iconic Opera Bar, The Royal Hotel, Paddington The Manly Jazz Festival and other venues, hotels and restaurants throughout town. She’s had sell out shows at prestigious Perth jazz club The Ellington, Subiaco Arts Centre and the Perth Concert Series. She’s performed at outdoor festivals such as Kings Park Festival, various Gala Dinners and charity events as well as a number of corporate performances and enjoyed many live spots on ABC radio.
